Information Collection and Verification Survey for Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Myanmar

The study is collecting basic information regarding technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in Myanmar to be utilized in assessing upcoming JICA assistance to achieve the following objectives: (i) clarify policies, systems, current situations, and challenges concerning TVET and the general education sector; (ii) clarify policies, systems, current situations, and challenges concerning industrial promotion and economic development; (iii) clarify policies, systems, current situations, and challenges concerning labour and employment; (iv) capture human resource demands of industries; and (v) suggest an effective cooperation approach for TVET in accordance with human development needs of industries in Myanmar based on the information collected and analysis undertaken.
