The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD”) intends to support Public Enterprise Macedonian Railway Infrastructure (“PERI”) and Makedonski Zeleznici Transport (“MZT”) to implement an integrated Energy Management Information System (“EMIS”). The main objectives of the assignment are to provide assistance in the detailed design, development, procurement and implementation of an EMIS which allows PERI and MZT to collect and analyze all information relevant to energy consumption. The system will also interface with existing software systems already in use in the companies, so strategies to reduce energy consumption can be deployed. PADECO is responsible for managing all stages of the project, from EMIS specification and design to installation, commissioning and training.
