1. Feasibility Studies
1) Feasibility Study for the Dismantlement of the three (3)Decommissioned Victor ⅢClass Nuclear Submarines (NS).
2) Supervision of Feasibility Studies for the Dismantlement of a Decommissioned Charlie I class Nuclear Submarine.
3) Preliminary Study and Evaluation of the Construction of the Long Term Land Storage Complex for Reactor Compartments in Rasboynik Bay.
2. Supervision of Dismantlement of the Decommissioned Nuclear Submarines (Total 6 Units)
Victor-III class (4 units), Victor-I class(1 unit), Charlie I class (1unit).
3. Supervision of Ex Post Valuation of the Floating Plant donated by Japan
- Supervision of Evaluation of “SUZURAN”, the Treatment Plant of the Low Level Liquid Radioactive Wastes.
4.Drafting Contract Documents and assistance for Conclusion of the Contracts
1) Drafting the Implementing Agreement between Japan & Russia and assistance for conclusion of the Agreement.
2) Drafting Several Contracts, Basic Design, Specifications and other documents for the Selection of the Procurement Agent and other documents related to the Procurement of 1 Floating Dock of 3,500 tons, 1 Tugboat and 2 Jib Cranes (10 tons and 32 tons) for the Long Term Land Storage facilities for the Reactor Units an the Rasboynik Bay, Russia.
5.Basic Designing of Floating Dock and others.
- Basic Design of the three items (Floating Dock 3,500 tons, Tugboat and two jib-Cranes) including Basic Specifications.
6.Analysis of Radiation Safety and Labor Safety Plan in relation to Dismantlement of Nuclear Submarines
1) Nuclear and Radiation Safety Control at the Stage of Shut Down of the Reactor and its decommissioning. Extract Spent Nuclear Fuel (SNF) and storage of SNF, and Storage of the Reactor Compartments (more than 70 years) after dismantlement of the NS.
2) Dismantlement of the NS and management of Environmental Risks.
3) Dismantlement of NS and Labor Safety Management.
4) Processing and Storage of Solid Radioactive Wastes and Liquid Radioactive Wastes.
5) Environmental Monitoring( Ensuring environmental safety of the workers engaged in the dismantlement, general public and the surrounding of the Shipyard).
6) Studies of Legal side of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Control of Russian Federation.
7) Studies on Nuclear and Radiation Control, Storage and Transportation.
7. Studies on Storage of non-radioactive wastes and their processing and disposal
- Processing and disposal of toxic and nontoxic wastes (asbestos, PCB, mercury, Special Rubber stealth coating).
