PADECO is participating in Walk in Her Shoes 2025, an initiative organized by CARE International Japan, a member of CARE International—an international NGO active in over 120 countries worldwide. Following our participation in 2022, 2023, and 2024, this marks our fourth time joining the campaign. This year, for the first time, we are forming a joint team with Pacific Consultants.   

Around 2 billion people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water. Women and girls, in particular, face risks to their health and safety while also losing opportunities for education and employment due to the burden of fetching water. To address this issue, the international campaign "Walk in Her Shoes 2025" is being held in Japan and various countries around the world.   

Through this campaign, 1 yen is donated for every 500 steps taken, supporting initiatives that empower women and girls in Timor-Leste, Nepal, and Ukraine.
