Design, Monitoring and Supervision for the Works under Ngoma-Ramiro Road Upgrading Project (2018-Ongoing)
Detail design, tender assistance and construction supervision for works related to a 52.80 km road in Rwanda, financed by a loan from the Government of Japan. The objective is to improve the road network and connectivity along the Central Corridor which will improve the efficiency of freight transport (between Kenya and Tanzania to Burundi and DRC) and promote economic growth of the regional economy. By allowing traffic to bypass the city of Kigali, the road also serves to reduce the level of traffic congestion in the capital.

Ngoma-Ramiro Road Improvement JICA Study (2017)
A Feasibility Study and Feasibility Study Review were conducted by consultants selected by the Government of Rwanda (GoR) in 2014 and 2016 respectively, for the rehabilitation of the pavement and widening of the road. The objectives of this project were to review the F/S and F/S review and to develop a project plan and widening design including project purpose and outline, project costs, implementation plan, maintenance and operation structures, environmental and social considerations, etc., which would form the basis for loan appraisal under Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA).
