Nigeria has an oil-dependent monoculture economy, and economic growth has been hit by the sharp drop in oil prices and other factors. In order to rectify this fragile industrial structure, the government is promoting policies aimed at diversifying and strengthening the economy. However, primary education, which is the foundation of this economy, faces a number of challenges, including low enrollment rates and a shortage of teachers. This project, in cooperation with JICA education advisor in Nigeria, will analyze the current status and issues of the basic education curriculum, and formulate, trial, and finalize a support plan. By proposing an effective aid approach plan and project plan, the project aims to contribute to the establishment of a sustainable education system, improvement of the quality of primary education, and economic diversification.
