The Rwandan government, under its "VISION 2050" strategy, emphasizes improving the quality and accessibility of education to achieve a sustainable knowledge-based society.  However, teacher quality remains low, and the quality of learning still faces challenges. To address this, the project aims to enhance subject knowledge in science and mathematics by utilizing ICT in teacher training programs to personalize instruction and visualize learning. The project focuses on strengthening the primary school teacher training curriculum through ICT utilization, improving the academic and teaching skills of new teachers, and supporting the promotion of ICT utilization and STEM education in the curriculum, which the Rwandan government sees as a priority. By developing online teaching materials, improving assessments, and strengthening collaboration and peer learning among teachers, the project seeks to enhance the ICT skills and pedagogical content knowledge of teacher training students, ultimately contributing to the training of teachers equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve children's learning.
