Mr. Takashi Soma, Director/General Manager of Education Development Division, had the high honor of visiting Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino, Imperial Princess Mako, and Imperial Princess Kako on 3 September 2018. 

He was invited on the recommendation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency for his work in Bangladesh, Ghana, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Myanmar, in the fields of primary education and science and mathematics education.
