For global infrastructure planning projects sought by Japanese Consulting firm at its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Primary duties include providing support for overseas development assistance projects including:
- Basic accounting, book-keeping;
- Preparing and maintaining monthly project budgets, directly reporting to Internal Project Director and Chief Financial Officer;
- Maintaining external and internal invoice accounts of clients and subcontractors;
- Liaison with local project offices overseas regarding monthly budgets, expense reports, and bank account management; and, but not limited to
- Project administration and coordination.
At least two years administrative or accounting work experience is required, and experience or interest in international development is an advantage. High level of numeracy including Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Familiarity with accounting methods is an advantage. Excellent level of fluency in English is required.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with technical aptitude, business acumen, and have strong communication skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
