General Consultancy Services for the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (2016 – Ongoing)
The Total length of the MTHL Corridor and Bridge is 21.800 km which connects Sewri on the Western side in Mumbai to Chirle on the Eastern side towards Navi Mumbai. This project is divided into four packages, PADECO is JV-sub.

PADECO is responsible for providing the following services:
  • Identification of the current status of ongoing short-term urban transport policy
  • Review of the exiting urban development and transport plans and projects
  • Traffic surveys, including traffic counting survey by using Anonymous MAC Address Probe (AMP) sensors, passenger counting survey, freight interview survey, smartphone ownership survey, and stated preference (SP) survey
  • Demand forecast modelling based mainly on the division of the existing zones in Central Business District using the newly obtained ODs by the AMP sensors, as well as the results of SP survey and assessment of urban mobility interventions
  • Identification of detailed traffic movement in the urban core
  • Preparation of the policy for mobility improvement in the urban core based on the above
  • Materialization of the project implementation framework in case that the introduction of rail-based urban transport system is judged as necessary to achieve mobility improvement
