The project aimed to assist tourism sector development with the overall goal of strengthening public-private partnerships (PPP) by means of capacity development. A PPP Forum was established as a major platform for both tourism public and private sectors. PPP Forum members include both public and private sector representatives, who are working on pilot activities in five areas: a) Finance and Investment, b) Human Resource Development, c) Marketing and Promotion, d) Policy, and e) Product Development. As an on-going activity, various training programs are being conducted for PPP Forum members and officials of the MOTDR, Ghana Tourist Board (GTB), and Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF).
