The purpose of this study was to propose an appropriate and efficient operational system to support Social Investment Fund Project (FIS) financed by Oversea Economic Cooperation Fund of Japan in collaboration with the World Bank. We conducted a comprehensive survey on the performance of operational system and social impacts of individual FIS projects, and developed a new operational system for FIS. We also held a training seminar to transfer the methods for the new operational system to the Fund personnel and other persons concerned.
